Played with my band at the bar and grill up the road again today. It just feels like they're looking past us the whole time. Maybe it's the hockey game on the giant ass tv above us. We wrote some sweet shit this past winter and these people are damn well gonna hear it. Like fucking clockwork, the chick with the "as seen on tv" bedazzled ass pockets is yelling the classic "PLAY SOMETHING WE KNOW" at us mid song. We had a lot to drink, but the bar owner/bartender paid the tab for us. He's a good dude, and if it ain't for him, we'd probably stay home and pass joints and shit. Maybe play some dreamcast like the good old days. I got friends in low places...
